How your data is handled (short answer: it stays with you).
Tap the + button and choose Add Card. You can scan the card's barcode or QR code with your camera, or type in the store, card number, PIN, and balance by hand. The App fills in the store's brand and logo automatically where it can.
Coupons live on their own page — swipe over to it, then add a coupon the same way you add a card. Coupons show the store's brand mark too, so they're easy to spot when you're checking out.
Make sure the camera has good, even lighting and the barcode or number is flat and in focus. If a scan doesn't catch, you can always type the details in manually. If the camera doesn't activate at all, check Settings → Berry Shops → Camera is enabled.
Your wallet is split into pages — gift cards, coupons, and receipts — that you swipe between. With the Nearby feature on, cards for stores close to you rise to the top so the right one is ready when you walk in.
Tap a card to flip it to a full-screen barcode view — large and bright so the register can scan it easily. Tap again or tap Done to flip back.
On the back of a card, tap the copy icon next to the card number or PIN. It's copied to your clipboard so you can paste it into a store's website or checkout field — handy for online orders.
You can update a card's balance yourself anytime, and it's saved with the card. For many stores, the App can open the store's official balance-check page to help you look it up. Balances stay in sync across your devices through iCloud.
When a store has a current sale or clearance, the App shows a scrolling deals ribbon along the bottom of the card's barcode view. It's a quick heads-up that there's a promotion worth knowing about before you spend the card.
Tapping the ribbon opens the store's public sale page in a browser window right inside the App, so you can shop without losing your place. Tap Done to return to your card. Your card details are never shared when you do this.
They come from each store's own public website. The App checks the store's live sale page and, when that isn't available, falls back to a known current promotion. Deals refresh periodically, so what you see reflects the store's current offers.
Tap the + button and choose Add Receipt, or swipe to the Receipts page and add one there. Each receipt shows the store's brand mark so your history is easy to scan at a glance.
Open the Receipts page and use the search field at the top to filter by store. Tap the keyboard's down-chevron, tap the list, or swipe to another page to dismiss the keyboard when you're done.
If you have iCloud enabled, your cards, coupons, and receipts sync through your own private iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple Account on a new device and your wallet restores automatically. This data lives in your iCloud account — we can't see it.
Open the App's Settings to manage iCloud backup for your wallet. Camera and location permissions are controlled in the iOS Settings app under Berry Shops, or under Privacy & Security.
Nearby surfaces the cards for stores that are close to you, so the right card is ready when you walk in. It uses your location on your device to match your own cards — your location is never sent to us or shared. Turn it off anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
Yes — the App is built so your card numbers and PINs stay on your device and, when you enable iCloud, are protected within your own iCloud account. We don't run a server that stores your cards, so there's no central database of them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Open an item and choose delete to remove it. Deleting the App removes its data from that device; anything in iCloud follows your iCloud settings. Because we don't hold your data on our servers, deleting it in the App and from iCloud removes it.
